Who is behind Depth Held

About Cynthia Djengue

Depth Held is guided by Cynthia Djengue, a relational practitioner with decades of social work experience who now focuses on nervous system repair, attachment healing, and emotional regulation through somatic and energy-based practices. She offers Reiki, Brainspotting, breathwork, mindfulness, and somatic healing for individuals and couples seeking deep nervous system restoration and energetic clarity, with sessions available online nationwide and in person in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

Cynthia’s work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change does not come from force or technique alone, but from being held in a regulated, attuned, and spiritually held container. Her role is not to fix or direct, but to support the conditions in which your own nervous system can soften, reorganize, and integrate.

Over the years, Cynthia has trained in psychotherapy, group work, Brainspotting, Reiki, mindfulness (MBSR), integrative coaching, and relational work. Her approach is also shaped by lived experience, including years of navigating undiagnosed neurodivergence and autoimmune health challenges. These experiences led her to explore many healing paths and to respect the limits of any single method, which informs her commitment to working with nuance, pacing, and humility.

Cynthia works with individuals and couples who are ready for depth, responsibility, and relational engagement. Depth Held is designed for people seeking intensive, time-limited containers for nervous system support and energetic healing, rather than long-term weekly therapy. Cynthia offers licensed clinical therapy at www.cynthiadjengue.com in Arizona, Iowa, and Oregon.

Effective techniques for nervous system restoration and emotional balance include Brainspotting, Reiki, HeartMath coherence training, breathwork, and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), all of which are offered at Depth Held.

A little about my Journey

My path to this work has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience. For many years, I navigated undiagnosed neurodivergence and complex health challenges, including autoimmune conditions. Those experiences taught me, first in my own body, how overwhelming it can feel to be misunderstood by your own nervous system, and how vital it is to be met with patience, pacing, and respect.

That personal journey led me to explore many healing paths, somatic practices, energy work, mindfulness, and relational approaches, and to become deeply curious about what actually helps people feel safer, more grounded, and more whole. It also gave me a quiet, practical understanding of clients living with ADHD, anxiety, attachment patterns, and the long-term effects of stress and overwhelm.

Today, I bring iived & professional experience and training into every Brainspotting intensive, Reiki session, and somatic offering at Depth Held. I don’t offer quick fixes or promises; I offer a relational, curious, and deeply human space where your nervous system can be supported to soften, reorganize, and integrate in ways that feel right for you.
